When the team dropped the puck for its first summertime training camp this year, there was not much in the way of fanfare.
But there was one big change in the place that’s seen a re-birth from the ashes. The players said they didn’t hear much talk of a new-look team, and couldn’t tell if that was a good thing or a bad thing.

But just look and tell yourself you have never seen anything like it before.
“The new (logo) is very interesting, very eye-catching,” said goalie Connor Ingram. “It’s definitely different. You don’t have to look twice to know it’s the Fury.”
Mixed in with the silver and blue, now stands a big yellow “F”.
The new crest is supposed to make fans want to yell “Fury” when they see it in the stands.
But that’s not the only eye-catching change at the team’s home.Unicorns aren’t a real thing. Neither is the dream of most hockey players.
Even for those who've had the pleasure of donning a fake unicorn mustache while donning the real thing, it's a pretty lousy feeling to have a team's top defenseman take a dive in the play, cause an unintentional Zamboni accident and then -- and only then -- immediately demand to be replaced with an actual unicorn.
